9I finished the third book yesterday, and I have to say, they were surprisingly good. I was not only entertained, but especially by the end of the first book I was definitely emotionally involved. The story does end up being a pretty wonderful love story; I was very pleasantly surprised. The characters, Christian specifically, are pretty complicated and although the amount of drama is unrealistic, the growth, understanding, and love that Ana and Christian exhibit is kind of inspiring. It reminds you that people have pasts that affect who they are today, though it does not define them. That you deserve to be loved. That if you put in the effort, the return will be great.
I will warn you, they are smutty and there is a lot of “kinky fuckery” (term from the book lol). If you’re comfortable with yourself and consider yourself a open, sexual being, like I consider myself, then they aren’t really a problem. If you’re not so much, it can be uncomfortable.

So happy that we had the opportunity to go on this vacation.
It’s been relaxing and wonderful. I love spending so much time with Matt without us just being tired from work. Dave & Laura and Kyle, Tom, & Ian have also been a ton of fun. The weather (with the exclusion of today) has been phenomenal and I’ve enjoyed every moment of being in the sun. I even love my sunburn from forgetting sunscreen on my face yesterday, haha. Matt is so dark he’s nearly black (cheating, beautiful half black skin), and I’m not doing half bad for my whole white self haha.
I don’t wanna go homeeee.
